Battle of the scripts
Around five years ago when I see PHP for the first time I was very sure that PHP will be the next programming language for the web. Indeed it was true for the next few years many developers adopted PHP in web development.
At that time PERL and ASP was the most widely used programming language for the web.
Sites developed in PHP popping up everywhere….
PHP was fast, easy to learn (well at least for those whose background coming from PERL like me 
)
Now seems another scene is happening like that time, Ruby On Rails promising faster development (may I say 10 times faster than PHP?) is on the way to making its path in the newly web development arena. Sites using ROR are popping up…
But how true is it?
Ruby On Rails is MVC development, even now PHP also coming with its own Rails type which is called PHP On Trax. What I can see now is all scripting language is going into MVC type development….
which is best of the best among all? only time and developers will tell :p ..
